Parents Needed
Calling all parents, grandparents and other involved adults of Troop 136 scouts!
You may be surprised to hear this, but ... parents, grandparents and other involved adults are one of the most vital components to a healthy troop. We need your involvement.
All registered adults in the troop are automatically members of the Troop 136 Parent Committee. Any other adult is welcome to attend. The Parent Committee usually meets on the first Monday of each month at the same time as the Troop meeting. This is a great place to find out all the information you need about troop activities.
There are many different roles that parents play to ensure that the troop thrives and continues to grow! We recognize that some families can give more of their time than others. We have opportunities at any level.
There will be a short Parent Committee Meeting at the end of the Troop Picnic on September 14 to introduce committee chairs.
Please come to the next calendared Parent Committee meeting in the Education Building at the Zoo on October 5 to find out what is happending and see how you can become involved!
