Remember, to make our troop great, we all want to share our time and talents. You have something of value to share with the scouts & the troop. No amount of time is too great or too small!

Here are just a few of the areas we are looking for help in:

• Historian
• Newsletter/History
  • works with Troop Historian to:
    prepare a monthly newsletter to Troop about Scout activities submit information to District/Council newsletter set up a web-based (and other) historical site to keep a record of Troop activities Need to recreate history between 10th and 15th anniversary.
• Zoo Coordinator
  • This person would work with the Zoo Volunteer Coordinator to let scouts know when Zoo volunteer opportunities occur. This person would not be the contact for the Zoo Zoom and Ice Cream Safari. Each of those has its own coordinator. The person would also be a contact point for other volunteer opportunities including the mandatory service for camp and other service requirements for advancement and badges
• Community Service Coordinator
• Secretary
  • Takes notes at the Parent Committee meetings and maintains the official record of minutes. The Secretary also is responsible for e-mailing draft minutes to the Committee Chair(s) for edits and to the Troop when final. Requires attendance at Parent Committee Meetings.
• Summer Camp Coordinator
  • Makes arrangement with camp, monitors $, due date, permissions, etc. Does not require camp attendance. Primarily work period is from January to Camp date, with most of the activity during May-Camp Date. Requires attendance at some troop meetings between January and Camp date.
• Tent Keeper
  • This person is responsible for handing out tents at overnight outings and to gather them back from the scouts when they are done.
